In His Own Words
I am Dr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia. I trained as a dental and maxillofacial surgeon, and today I have the honor of serving the people of Punjab as Chairman of the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, as General Secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, and as the elected councilor of Ward 6, Mohali.
I came into public life because I believe the simplest needs of a family deserve the greatest care. A glass of clean water, a street that stays dry in the rain, and a neighborhood where children can play without worry. These are not small things. They are the foundation of a dignified life.
My training taught me that healing begins with listening. Before any treatment, you sit with a person, you hear them out, and you try to understand what they are really going through. I try to bring that same habit to public service. Every village, every ward and every complaint deserves to be heard with patience and respect.
I do not always have every answer, and the work is never finished. But I promise to keep my door open, to do the work honestly, and to show you openly what has been done and what is still to come.
